With new home sales steadily increasing and an outstanding year in 2013, Lee Wetherington Homes has begun its 2014 expansion with two new employees. Lee Wetherington Homes welcomes experienced construction supervisors Steve Birtwistle and Sarah Hoiby to its already established team. “This is a great way to start off 2014,” said Peter D. Mason, vice-president of sales and marketing for Lee Wetherington Homes. “It’s no secret that the housing industry is recovering quickly, and our company is growing. We are excited to bring back two great employees who have worked here before, as we continue to grow our business,” said Mason.

Steve Birtwistle has worked in construction since he was 15 years old, when he specialized in the cabinet design field and co-owned a family run high-end cabinet remodeling company. He worked for Lee Wetherington Homes in 2001 as a punch out technician and became a Lead Builder with the company. After working for several other high-volume local companies, Birtwistle says he returned to Lee Wetherington Homes because of the shared desire to build great homes in efficient time frames. “This company offers many things other builders don’t and takes great pride in the product,” said Steve Birtwistle, Lee Wetherington Homes Lead Builder.

Sarah Hoiby has worked in the construction field since 2004. She was previously employed at Lee Wetherington Homes as a Lead Builder and Warranty Manager, before making the switch to a national home building company. Hoiby is back as a Lead Builder where she supervises the construction process from start to finish, schedules all trades and keeps homeowners involved in and aware of the progress of their homes.
