Brisk sales in first quarter bode well for 2019

Lee Wetherington Homes saw First Quarter sales increase by 20% year-over-year leading into the Spring selling season, and the Sarasota-based homebuilder is answering the demand with new homes in all their communities.

Gregg Carlson, Lee Wetherington Homes’s CEO, said inventory homes are underway at LakeHouse Cove at Waterside, The Lake Club and Cypress Glen at River Wilderness to keep up with the demand.

“We’ve seen increased traffic at all of our communities this year,” Carlson said.  “Many prospective buyers don’t want to wait for a to-be-built home, so we are starting inventory homes to answer their needs.”

Cypress Glen at River Wilderness, Lee Wetherington’s newest community that caters to empty nesters, features homes priced in the $400s that are designed for owners that want a smaller home in a private community.  River Wilderness is a country club community with manned gatehouses.

LakeHouse Cove at Waterside is on the Sarasota side of Lakewood Ranch and features lakes and easy access to I-75.  The Lake Club is the premier luxury community in Lakewood Ranch.
