New Lee Wetherington Homes’s Headquarters
Building Moving Towards Early 2021 Completion

Despite the challenges of Covid-19, the new 15,000-square-foot headquarters building for Lee Wetherington Homes is progressing with move-in expected in the first quarter of 2021.

The two-story, contemporary building is located about 1.5 miles east of I-75 on Fruitville Road. Lee Wetherington’s administrative staff and the Design Studio will be located on the second floor. The first floor will be leased to other tenants.

“With close proximity to I-75 and Lakewood Ranch, the new office location is easy to reach for our buyers when they visit the Design Center,” said Gregg Carlson, CEO of Lee Wetherington Homes.

“We continue to have strong positions throughout Lakewood Ranch, including at LakeHouse Cove at Waterside and The Lake Club. And we are active at The Founders Club and Cypress Glen at River Wilderness, both of which are nearby. Easy access to I-75 makes the new office convenient for our custom-homes clients as well.”

The building, designed by Hoyt Architects of Sarasota, features a contemporary design with large glass panels. A 2-story lobby will greet visitors as they enter the building.
