Building a Better Community: Over the Holidays, We’re Coming Together to Support the Suncoast
The holidays are approaching, and Lee Wetherington Homes is taking time to reflect on what another year means to us. Throughout the halls of our contemporary headquarters on Fruitville Road in Sarasota, for our team of designers and builders, many meaningful gifts extend beyond ribbons and wrapping paper. They’re the gestures that evoke the feelings of hope, joy and comfort, especially among those who are searching for it most in communities across the Suncoast – communities that have inspired and supported us for 45 years.
Over the course of November and December, our team is coming together, donating to a variety of crucial charitable organizations that truly strengthen people and families. Lee Wetherington Homes’ end-of-the-year initiative has been not only to contribute gifts to the Salvation Army of Sarasota County, which are distributed during the Christmas season, but also donate much-needed food to All Faiths Food Bank, among assisting other organizations that create change and make a difference during the holidays – and relentlessly throughout the year.
This year’s effort is already visible in the form of full collection containers, ready to make an impact. Pantry staples and snacks are on their way to empty cabinets. The “Forgotten Angel” toy bin, located in our office, is overflowing with Christmas gifts – and additional items continue to arrive as we prepare for its pickup on Dec. 2. These donations not only show our team’s generosity but their desire to brighten a season meant to be exciting for Suncoast children and families like their own.
Whether our team is designing a singular masterpiece for a discerning homebuyer or donating our time and treasures to local organizations that benefit families in need, we believe in helping people come together to create special moments. And it’s because of Lee Wetherington Homes’ legacy and reputation as an award-winning local homebuilder that we’re able to share our success in the place where our team has built longstanding relationships and roots. This season, and every year, we hope our work outside of the office is a reflection of the same care and consideration that are devoted to the unique properties we bring to life and the tailored experience we offer each homeowner.
