In the Season of Gratitude, Our Team is Building Dreams – and Sharing Thanks

The Florida air is turning a little cooler and the holidays are just a month away, with Thanksgiving on the horizon – and Christmas not long after. At Lee Wetherington Homes, the feeling of gratitude is on our minds and in our hearts – and we’re reflecting on the people we love, the beautiful, shared moments we’ll always carry, and the place where those memories take shape. Every day, for our team, it’s about creating spaces where life unfolds, and traditions are created and continued for years.

We’re not only grateful for the lives we lead, but for the privilege of designing and building custom homes that hold meaning during the season of thanks – and the most ordinary days. As we head into the holidays, we asked our team at Lee Wetherington Homes to share what they treasure in 2025.

This Year, Here’s What We’re Thankful For

“My family.” – Alyson Byrne, Sales Consultant

“My husband and our health.” – Tracy Eisnaugle, Design & Creative Director

“I’m thankful for our friends, family, the people I work with, the roofs over our heads and the food on our tables.” – Matt White, Architect Designer & CAD Operator

“I am beyond grateful that God blessed me with my beautiful daughter, Codi.” – Donna Leach, Purchasing Agent

“No hurricane hitting our area this year.” – Cynthia Sargeant, Customer Concierge

“I’m thankful for my loving husband, children, grandchildren and my four-legged babies. I’m especially grateful that God has allowed my husband to still be mobile so we can still do the things we enjoy. Finally, I’m grateful for my job and the great team we have, which is also family.” – Sue Clear, Purchasing & Estimating Coordinator

“Truly, the greatest thing I am thankful for is my family and the people God has put in my life. My team at work, my friends. You might say I collect people (relationships). I don’t have a picture of all of them in one place, so I will start with those closest to me, my wife and kids.” – David Hunihan, CEO

“I’m grateful for the strength I’ve found in overcoming difficulties. Each challenge has taught me something valuable and helped me grow into a more resilient and compassionate person.” – Amanda Krueger, Administrative Assistant & Accounts Payable

“Health and family.” – Jack Williams, Vice President of Construction

“I’m grateful for the ability to connect with complete strangers and how a simple conversation can turn into something meaningful – even if just for a moment. Some of those moments have even grown into great friendships I never would’ve had if we hadn’t found the courage to speak up.” – Ashley Shaffer, Accounting Specialist

“I’m grateful for the things you cannot buy – family, friends and the freedom of living in America. What a gift I have been blessed with and, on top of that, living on the West Coast of Florida.” – Jon Borkholder, Construction Manager

“I’m grateful for my wife and kids.” – Jae Cho, Vice President of Purchasing & Estimating

“I am grateful for every opportunity to spend time with my amazing mom. Love you, Mom!” – Debra Thomas, Sales Consultant

“I’m thankful for the people in my life who support and uplift me, the lessons I’ve learned through both the good and tough times, and the simple moments that bring peace and joy. I’m grateful for where I am, and hopeful for what’s ahead.” – David Long, Construction Manager

“I am beyond grateful for this little ball of chaos and Mia for being an amazing mom.” – Karol Sawa, Construction Manager

“I am grateful for my family, friends, plus another day to be healthy and alive.” – Tim Potter, Senior Designer

“The gift of good living, good friends, and good family.” – Steve Nelson, Director of Architecture

“Family and health.” – Matt Mueller, Construction Finishing Specialist

“I am grateful for my loving husband.” – Caroline Wetherington, Commercial Broker

“I’m beyond grateful and blessed to work for a great company like Lee Wetherington Homes. I appreciate everyone who is a part of the team. Thank you for showing up each day with a great attitude and work ethic. It has made my time here so far nothing but joyous. I’m also grateful for my friends and family who continuously push me to be the best version of myself. And, like David Long said, I’m grateful for where I am, and hopeful for what’s ahead.” – Trace Christmas, Construction Manager

“I’m grateful when we work as a team and support each other to deliver the best quality homes possible for our customers.” – Chris Stauffer, Construction Manager
