Lee Wetherington Homes’s CEO featured in Builder Magazine
Gregg Carlson, Lee Wetherington Homes’s CEO, was included in the March issue of Builder Magazine in a story about the future of golf course communities.
Carlson told the industry publication he chose to develop Cypress Glen, a 47-home community in River Wilderness in Parrish, Fl, because of the community amenities, location and the number of larger, older homes in the community.
“At River Wilderness there’s a high volume of residents who live in larger homes inside the community who want to downsize, while others in similar sized homes want something new,” he said. “River Wilderness is mature, very well maintained, and has an established club. This is the only gated golf course community located north of the Manatee River.”
He noted residents can drive to Lakewood Ranch in about 10 minutes, and a public boat ramp on the Manatee River is about 3 minutes from River Wilderness.
Lee Wetherington Homes is offering six models at Cypress Glen at River Wilderness, each with a choice of four architectural styles. The Magnolia model won “Best Overall” in the 2019 Parade of Homes. Prices start in the $300s.
Builder Magazine is the premier publication for the national homebuilding industry.
